Courses at COD on ''Investing in an Uncertain Economy'' and at Wheaton Park District on Roth IRA ConversionsI will be teaching a class on Roth IRA conversions for the Wheaton Park District and District 200 in September. The 2-hour class, Should You Convert Your IRA?, will be offered on 9/14, 9/21, and 9/28 from 7:00-9:00 at Wheaton North High School. In October, I will be teaching a Continuing Education class at the College of DuPage (COD) on investing in an uncertain economy. This three-session course will be offered at COD's Glen Ellyn campus on consecutive Tuesday evenings, 10/5, 10/12, and 10/19.
Based upon the book Investing in an Uncertain Economy for Dummies(Wiley Publishing, 2008), in which I had authored two chapters, this class will focus on how to "control the controllable" and avoid the mistakes many investors make when markets drop.
